When is the next Solstice / Equinox this year?
In the Northern Hemisphere the Summer Solstice
occurs around June 21st whilst the Winter Solstice occurs around
December 21st each year. In the Southern Hemisphere the respective dates
are reversed.
In the Northern Hemisphere the Vernal Equinox (Spring Equinox) occurs
around March 21st whilst the Autumnal Equinox (Fall Equinox) occurs
around September 21st each year. Again in the Southern Hemisphere the
respective dates are reversed.
